I noticed that you are from Eugene, OR. Denise Welty is from Eugene, OR. too. She signed Mike's site and has a daughter with the same very rare condition. She did not leave her email address and we would love to talk with them. Do you by any chance know them? We would like them to contact us. Our email is attached to the web site.
We have been searching for other patients to learn new treatment options or hopefully a cure. We have only found 12 patients, (that need ongoing infusions to survive), IN THE WORLD.
Could you help us connect with this other family? Every time we find another patient, we seem to learn more about Intestinal Lymphangiectasia.

Scott, my husband, and I lived in Eugene about 8 years ago. We both grew up in Oregon. I am from Chiloquin (half way between Crater Lake and Klamath Falls) and Scott is from Milwaukie-near Portland. We met when we were both Rangers at Crater Lake and both went to school at OSU (Go Beavs!) After graduation we married at Mt Hood and moved to Newport where I was a 911 operator. We soon relocated to Portland where I started work as a Graphic Designer and Scott became a teacher for LaSalle High School. 3 years later we moved to Eugene, and 3 years after that we moved to Lakeview Oregon where Scott quit teaching and went into fire management. We are now in Greybull, esentially doing the same things, just a bit further from the ocean. I still have lots of freinds in Eugene and love the town. What a small world!
